How to Book a Hotel in Cebu

Learn how to book a Hotel in Cebu. Understand Cebu first before hitting that reservation button.

As mentioned in my Cebu page, Cebu is both the name of the province and the city. Cebu City is the capital city of Cebu Province. So, before making a reservation, see to it that you know where you want to stay and how far is it from Cebu City or Mactan Cebu International Airport or Cebu Pier.

GETTING AROUND CEBU

CEBU CITY AREA

If you intend to stay in Cebu City area, always make sure to see Cebu City in the address because the absence of the word "city" means that you might be looking into a property that is not part of Cebu City but instead part of Cebu Province. Some of them might be located in the far north or far south. If you want to stay near the malls, hotels nearest to Ayala Center Cebu are Seda Ayala Center Cebu City, Red Planet Cebu, Quest Hotel & Conference Center Cebu, Hotel Elizabeth Cebu and many more. Hotels nearest to SM City Cebu and Robinsons Galleria Cebu are Radisson Blu Hotel, Cebu, Bayfront Hotel Cebu North Reclamation, Crown Port View Hotel, Sugbutel Family Hotel, Hotel Pier Cuatro, etc. If you intend to stay in other parts of Cebu, check out my listings on WHERE TO STAY IN CEBU and look for Uptown Cebu City, Downtown Cebu City, Near IT Park, Capitol Area, Near Gaisano Country Mall. Some of the hotels enumerated there are closer to Ayala Center Cebu. AIRPORT AREA and LAPULAPU CITY

If you intend to stay near the airport, check out my listings on Lapu-Lapu City and Mandaue City. Nearest hotels to the airport are Felicity Island Hotel, Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino – Mactan, Islands Stay Hotel. Coralpoint Gardens Suites and Residences, Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort The Bellavista Hotel, Shangri-La's Mactan Island Resort, Mövenpick Cebu, Plantation Bay Resort, Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel are also located in Lapu-Lapu City, the city where the airport is situated.

CEBU PROVINCE - SOUTHERN TOWNS

If you intend to stay in the southern parts of Cebu, look for a property whose address include any of the following towns depending on where you intend to stay in the south: Alegria, Badian, Samboan, Argao, Dalaguete, Alcoy, Boljoon, Oslob, Santander, etc. Some of the places to stay in Moalboal are: Moalboal Tropics, Bonita Oasis, Marina Village Beach Resort, etc and some of the properties to stay in Oslob are: Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort, Casa Bonita Inn, Gunners Lodging House, Luzmin BH - Pink House, MB Sunrise View Resort.

CEBU PROVINCE - NORTHERN TOWNS

If you intend to stay in the northern parts of Cebu, look for a property whose address include any of the following towns depending on where you intend to stay in the north: Compostela, Danao City, Carmen, Sogod, Borbon, Tabogon, Tuburan, Bogo, Daanbantayan (Malapascua Island), Santa Fe (Bantayan Island), etc. Some properties in Bantayan Island are: Ogtong Cave Resort, Sta Fe Beach Club, Bantayan Cottages, Bantayan Island Nature Park and Resort, Hoyohoy Villas, Bantayan Island Nature Park and Resort, Beach Placid Resort. Some properties in Malapascua Island are: Blue Corals Beach Resort, Buena Vida Resort and Spa, Malapascua Exotic Island Dive and Beach Resort, Malapascua Thresher Cove Dive Resort.

CEBU PROVINCE - CAMOTES ISLANDS

Camotes Islands are a group of islands in the eastern section of Cebu Province and if you want to stay there, some of the properties are Santiago Bay Garden and Resort, Mangodlong Rock Resort, Mangodlong Paradise Resort, Coco Grove Nature Resort, etc.

CEBU PROVINCE - WEST

Some of the famous towns in the western parts of Cebu are Balamban and Toledo City. Other western towns are Pinamungahan, Aloguinsan, etc.
