THE RESORT AND LOCATION
Genesis Valley Mountain Resort is situated in Cabangahan, Consolacion, Cebu. It has a swimming pool, playground, open field, garden nests, clubhouse, chapel, worship hill, etc - perfect for reunion, team building, debut, prenup, jogging, retreat, youth camp and parties.

CLUB HOUSE AND FEES
A clubhouse can accommodate for day use between 8am to 5pm up to 180 persons for Php5000 with tables and chairs but does not include entrance fee and pool fee while a clubhouse tent can accommodate up to 80 persons for Php2500 with tables and chairs but does not include entrance fee and pool fee. There are also a number of kiosks for day users that can accommodate between 15 to 30 persons ranging from Php2300 to Php3800 inclusive of entrance fee, pool fee, tables and chairs. Swimming pool fee is Php150 for adults and Php100 for kids (with prior reservation). For walk-in guests, pool fee is Php200 per head. If you want to use the resort for your photograhing session or prenup shoots, entrance is Php100 per head. (See other fees below. Rates may change without prior notice)

ROOM RATES
An overnight stay for Kubo rooms with a maximum capacity of 6 persons range from Php2000 to Php3200 inclusive of entrance fee and pool use, while for day users, the rooms range from Php1200 to Php2400 inclusive of entrance fee and pool use. Garden rooms range from Php5000 to Php6000 for overnight stay. Barkada rooms can accommodate 6 to 20 persons and rates range from Php4000 to Php12000 which include pool use and entrance fee. FOOD/CORKAGE FEE
You can bring your own food. I am not sure about the corkage fee but looks like they charge Php20 per head. You may contact the resort at the numbers listed above for clarification.
PARKING AREA
If you intend to go there with your vehicle, they have a parking space inside.
REUNION WITH COLLEGE BATCHMATES
As we grow older, one of the things we love to do is to connect with our long lost friends, colleagues and batchmates. It was exactly what we did recently. Despite our busy schedule, we always find time to connect to catch things up or to simply just enjoy each other's company. The trigger of this reunion was our 25th Graduation Anniversary. So, thanks to all my batchmates who were there to celebrate our milestone and thanks to everyone for participating. It was nice seeing you all. HOW TO GO TO GENESIS VALLEY MOUNTAIN RESORT
- Ride a jeepney bound for Liloan (route #25), or Compostela (route #26), or Danao City (route #27). If you are somewhere near Mandaue, you can catch any of these jeepneys along National Highway fronting San Miguel or across Jollibee. If you are not from Cebu, you may go to Cebu North Bus Terminal and ride a van/bus bound for Carmen/Catmon/Sogod.
- Tell the driver you will disembark at Fooda Hypermart in Consolacion. The hypermart is near the overpass
- Beside the overpass opposite Fooda Hypermart, hail or charter a habal habal ride for Genesis Valley Mountain Resort.
- The easiest is to ride a taxi or book a Grab for Genesis Valley Mountain Resort. If the driver refuses to bring you to Genesis Valley, just tell him to bring you to Fooda Hypermart Consolacion. Once in Fooda, on the opposite side beside the overpass, hail or charter a habal habal ride for Genesis Valley Mountain Resort.
- If you go there via your vehicle, take the northern route heading to Consolacion and hit your brake at Fooda Hypermart. On the opposite side, you'll see an upward road near the overpass, use that route and navigate your way towards Genesis Valley Mountain Resort. See map below for direction or download the Waze app, it worked for us
