Things To Do In Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon - Home to Del Monte's Pineapple Plantation, Dahilayan and kampojuan

You know you're in Manolo Fortich when you pass by the vast pineapple plantation along the roads in Barangay Agusan Canyon, Barangay San Miguel and other parts of the municipality. The big pineapple situated at the crossing near the entrance to Camp Phillips is a perfect representation of Del Monte's presence in this northern town in Bukidnon. Their municipal plaza is also not to miss when you get there.

THINGS TO DO IN MANOLO FORTICH, BUKIDNON

There are a  lot of things you can do in the municipality. Some of the places you can visit and things to do in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon are: The Big Pineapple, Dahilayan Forest Park, Dahilayan Adventure Park, kampojuan, Camp Phillips Plaza, Del Monte Club House, Del Monte Golf and Country Club, Immaculate Conception Parish, Manolo Fortich Municipal Hall and Plaza, Manolo Fortich Gymnasium, Manolo Fortich Municipal Plaza, Damilag Forebay, etc.

MANOLO FORTICH TOWN PROPER

In the town proper, Immaculate Conception Parish, Manolo Fortich Municipal Plaza and Manolo Fortich Gymnasium are just a close walking distance to each other. Prince Mall and the bus terminal are also a walking distance from the town proper.

DAHILAYAN FOREST PARK AND DAHILAYAN ADVENTURE PARK

These forest park and adventure park are two of the most famous attractions in Bukidnon Province today. You can actually stay overnight there. These parks are situated in Barangay Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich. Click here or the image below for more info.

THE BIG PINEAPPLE

The Big Pineapple is a site to behold and a landmark you don't want to miss when you get to Manolo Fortich. Make sure to strike a pose when you pass by this landmark on your way to Dahilayan Forest Park and Dahilayan Adventure Park.

KAMPOJUAN ADVENTURE PARK

kampojuan is yet another popular tourist attraction in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. It is home to Asia's first anicycle. Click here or the image below for more info. kampojuan is situated in Dicklum, Manolo Fortich.

THE HERITAGE HOUSE

The Heritage House is a repository of various artifacts of Dr. Juan Acosta and Dr. Socorro Fama Olaivar-Acosta's possessions from their ancestral homes in Northern Luzon and Central Visayas as well as collections from other regions of the Philippines. This house is situated inside kampojuan.

THE MACARTHUR MONUMENT

The MacArthur Monument is the site of the World War II Del Monte Airfield from which Douglas MacArthur was evacuated to Australia from the Philippines after the fall of Corregidor and Bataan. You will pass this monument just a few meters before reaching kampojuan in Dicklum, Manolo Fortich.

PLACES TO STAY IN MANOLO FORTICH

If you don't have a family or friend in Manolo Fortich, some of the places you may want to stay in Manolo Fortich are Dahilayan Forest Park, Dahilayan Adventure Park, kampoJuan or you may want to stay overnight in Ultra Winds Mountain Resort or in the nearby Cagayan de Oro City. HOW TO GO TO MANOLO FORTICH

This guide is on how to go to Manolo Fortich from Cebu or Manila via Cagayan de Oro City by air and sea.  

1. By air: Book a flight from Cebu or Manila to Cagayan de Oro City thru Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines or Air Asia. Then go to your airport of origin to catch your flight for Cagayan de Oro City.By sea: You can book your tickets at 2GO Travel, Trans-Asia or any other shipping lines plying the route Cebu to Cagayan de Oro or Manila to Cagayan de Oro. 
2. If you travel by air: You will land in Misamis Oriental at Laguindingan Airport. Upon your exit, you may either book a taxi to bring you directly to  your desired destination above or you can book a van if you are a large group. If you intend to tour several attractions above, it is advisable to book a tour, dulog is the name of their rickshaw.
