NOT OUR TOUR
I and my other 2 fellow guests from Busuanga SeaDive Resort were not supposed to be on this tour as we booked for Coron Island Ultimate Tour but there seemed to be a miscommunication between the hotel staff and the tour agency. We only found out that we were in a different tour when we filled out a form that says Pass Island. One of my fellow guests from New Zealand confirmed about the tour we're in and we were indeed in a wrong tour but since all the Coron Island Ultimate Tour boats were gone for that day, the 3 of us decided to just enjoy the Pass Island Escapade Tour.

The Pass Island Escapade Tour includes 4 Destinations such as the East Tangat Wreck, Lusong Coral Garden, Lusong Shipwreck and of course Pass Island.
REEFS AND WRECKS TOUR
The Pass Island Escapade Tour is interchangeably known as Reefs and Wrecks Tour. This tour takes about 1.5 hours to reach the first destination but I believe it depends on your first destination, ours was at East Tangat Wreck.
Destination 1: East Tangat Wreck - our first stop, you can do snorkeling there and of course diving if you want to. Supplemental readings: Diving Coron Wrecks; East Tangat Shipwreck Data Sheet; East Tangat Wreck Video
Destination 2: Pass Island - if you love the beach, you will definitely love Pass Island. It has a white sand beach with crystal clear water and is a perfect place to relax and unwind. We had our lunch there and were given about 2 hours to enjoy the island but we went ahead for the next destinations as most of my fellow tourmates love snorkeling and diving. This is the stop over for this tour.

Destinations 3 and 4: Lusong Coral Garden and Lusong Gunboat/Shipwreck - these 2 destinations are on the same area and my tourmates said (I did not disembark from the boat), this is the most beautiful coral garden they've seen. So if you are a diver or are not afraid of deep waters, you should definitely check the corals there, so remember to bring your diving mask, camera and snorkeling gear. TOUR INCLUSIONS/PRICE
Of all the 4 destinations above, the price may vary depending on which tour operator you booked your tour. It will cost you between 1200-1300 Pesos. The tour offers free lunch and light snacks. You will also be given free bottled water. Life vests are also provided.
HOW TO BOOK A TOUR
Upon your arrival at the airport, you can find several pamphlets from several tour operators. Just pick as many as you can and decide from there then text the number listed on the pamphlets. The tour operators are Wonderful Island Travel and Tours, JY Travel and Tours, K-Tours Coron, Be Cool Travel and Tours, Calamian Islands Travel and Tours, Ocean Pearl Travel and Tours, etc. Alternatively, you may ask the receptionist at the hotel you stayed at to book a tour for you. Someone from the tour agency will pick you up at your hotel on the day of your tour.
WHAT TO BRING
Snorkeling gear, diving mask, bags preferably waterproof bags, phones, camera.
NON SWIMMERS
If you are a non swimmer or are not so comfortable with deep waters (like myself), you can stay at the boat. You will not be left alone as there will be 1 or 2 people who will stay there to cook for the food for lunch and light snacks.
HOW TO GO TO CORON
You can go to Coron by air from Cebu or Manila via Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Skyjet Airlines. You can also go there by a ferry from Manila to Coron via 2GO Travel or from El Nido to Coron via Montenegro Shipping, etc. Alternatively, you can also go there by seaplane from Caticlan (Boracay) and Puerto Princesa via Air Juan.
PLACES TO STAY
When I get there, I stayed at Busuanga Sea Dive Resort for 2 nights. The place is a perfect location for backpackers and divers, conveniently located at the town center, a walking distance to almost everything from Mt. Tapyas, to Coron Public Market, to Lualhati Park, to island hopping loading and unloading area. On my 3rd night, I stayed near the airport, MO2 Westown Lagoon, right in front of Coron Westown Lagooon. Yes, they are 2 separate hotels and they are sister companies. Both are perfect places to relax and unwind after a tiring tour from the islands but are also good starting places on your stay in Coron, they are away from the hustle and bustle of the town center. You can check out other places to stay thru agoda.com, trivago.com, booking.com, hostelbookers.com, hotels.com, travelbook.ph, trivago.com, kaligo.com, etc.
