Boracay: Places To Stay, How To Get There and More Info

Boracay Island, Your Slice of Paradise! - Aklan, Philippines.

Boracay is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the Philippines. Though the place is very crowded during summer, Boracay is undoubtedly one of the best beach destinations in the country. With its wide shoreline, pristine white fine powdery sands, the island of Boracay is definitely one of the best places to relax, unwind, chill, party and enjoy the wonders of God's creation! Here's a 2020 video of Boracay after rehabilitation and here's a video of Boracay before rehabilitation.

My nieces and nephew trying paddle boarding.

The Island of Boracay is situated in the province of Aklan and is divided into 3 main stations, stations 1 to 3. Among the stations, Station 2 is the most lively. The place comes to life at night.

While strolling along the beach front, I saw these performers at Aplaya, near the Summer Place, Station 2.
BORACAY SUNSETS
When in Boracay, remember to catch the beautiful sunsets while strolling along the beach barefoot among the sea of people enjoying the beautiful scenery

PLACES TO STAY
HENANN GARDEN RESORT
While you don't need an expensive accommodation when in Boracay, if you want a luxury vacation, Henann Garden Resort is to me one of the best places to stay in Boracay. One of the advantages of staying at Henann Group is you get to enjoy and use the pools of their other properties. So, thanks to my sis and bro-in-law for the invite and celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary at Henann Garden Resort which coincidentally brought me back to the island of Boracay after 14 years! That was more than a decade. There are just too many beautiful places to visit.

There are many other places to stay in Boracay, some of the luxury hotels that you may also want to consider are Henann Prime Beach Resort, Henann Regency, Henann Lagoon, Henann Crystal Sands Resort, Astoria Current, Astoria Boracay, Azalea Hotels and Residences, Shangri-La, Discovery Shores, just to name a few. For budget travelers, you can find aplenty several hostels anywhere from stations 1 to 3. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main stations, check out Savoy Hotel (stayed there in February 2020) and Belmont Hotel inside Boracay Newcoast. You can book online via booking.com, agoda.comtravelbook.ph, trivago.com, etc. If you want, you can do walk-in, just go directly to any stations of your liking, I prefer station 2. There are several hostels, hotels, guesthouses near D'Mall and Talipapa area in station 2.
