Boracay - your slice of paradise!
Boracay Summer Getaway!
Boracay is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the Philippines. Though the place is very crowded during summer, Boracay is undoubtedly one of the best beach destinations in the country. With its wide shoreline, pristine white fine powdery sands, the island of Boracay is definitely one of the best places to relax, unwind, chill, party and enjoy the wonders of God's creation!

The Island of Boracay is situated in the province of Aklan and is divided into 3 main stations, stations 1 to 3. Among the stations, Station 2 is the most lively. The place comes to life during nighttime.

When in Boracay, remember to catch the beautiful sunsets while strolling along the beach barefoot among the sea of people enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Per my conversation with one of the attendants at Henann gift shop, during the months of March and April, mosses are aplenty on Boracay beach.
PLACES TO STAY
HENANN GARDEN RESORT
While you don't need an expensive accommodation when in Boracay, if you want a luxury vacation, Henann Garden Resort is to me one of the best places to stay in Boracay. One of the advantages of staying at Henann Group is you get to enjoy and use the pools of their other properties. So, thanks to my sis and bro-in-law of JCK Designs for the invite and celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary at Henann Garden Resort which coincidentally brought me back to the island of Boracay after 14 years! That was more than a decade. There are just too many beautiful places to visit.

You can book online via booking.com, agoda.com, travelbook.ph, trivago.com, etc. If you want, you can do walk-in, just go directly to any stations of your liking, I prefer station 2. There are several hostels, hotels, guesthouses near Talipapa area in station 2.
You can fly to Boracay via Caticlan or Kalibo. You may book your tickets at Air Asia, Philippine Airlines or Cebu Pacific.
- From the airport, you can either approach the Boracay Mabuhay Host Association desk for assistance or you may want to hire or charter a tricycle to get you to Caticlan Jetty Port. Fare ranges between 50 to 100.
- At Caticlan Jetty Port, buy a ticket for P25.
- The outrigger boat will then bring you to Cagban Jetty Port.
- From Cagban Jetty Port, hire a tricycle or multicab (small jeepney) to bring you to your accommodation. Fare could be around 50 to 100 as well.
You can also go to Boracay from Cebu to Iloilo to Kalibo to Caticlan via Transasia.
BORACAY TO PALAWAN AND VICE VERSA
Aside from my hometown of Cebu - Boracay and Palawan are 2 of the most visited islands in the Philippines. If you are going to Palawan from Boracay, you can book your ticket via a seaplane, Airjuan.
How about you, have you been to Boracay? How was your experience?
