My South Cebu Tour 3 Days 2 Nights - Santander, Alcoy, Oslob, Alegria and Badian
The last time I went to south Cebu was before the pandemic when I visited Simala Church in Sibonga in 2019. Pandemic happened so I never got the chance to go back. Recently though, when I and my sis were out and about in the city, we took an unplanned trip to Naga and visited Pasilong sa Naga inside Naga Boardwalk and Park. The boardwalk was undergoing construction then when we went there in October 2022. We then went home after the trip and since I had been meaning to go to Santander, the southernmost town of southern Cebu, I filed for a leave of absence, took a break and embarked on a South Cebu Tour in November 2022.
I couldn't sleep the night before in anticipation and excitement of my forthcoming South Cebu trip, so I waited until 5:00am to start my Cebu South tour.
5:30am Had breakfast at Jollibee Talamban and rode a jeepney for Cebu South Bus Terminal in Cebu City
6:20am Arrived at Cebu South Bus Terminal and purchased a ticket at the ticket booth for a bus bound for Bato via Oslob then told the ticketing lady that I will alight at the beautiful Santander Pebble Beach Resort. (Had to sleep while on the bus on my way to Santander).
11:00am Arrived at Santander Pebble Beach Resort. Check in time was 2:00pm but the resort allowed me to check in express as I earned a VIP status in Agoda and the resort allowed express check in (the more you book, the more benefits you'll get)
11:00am to 5:00pm The beach was so inviting, so after I checked in, I immediately went for a swim, took a shower, had my lunch and took a rest for an hour or two then went to visit Santander Municipal Hall, St. Gabriel The Archangel Church, Sanayon Site and the nearby Liloan Port. There is a parking bay for motorcycle taxis (habal habal), tricycles and bus terminal that is just a close walking distance to Santander Pebble Beach Resort.
In case you didn't know yet, Liloan Port is your gateway to Negros Island which is just a few minutes ferry boat ride away from Sibulan, Negros Oriental. So, if you want to prolong your vacation and visit Negros Oriental, Santander Pebble Beach Resort and Kingdom Resort are 2 of the best places to stay overnight in Santander, Cebu as these resorts are a close walking distance to the port of Liloan, Santander.

DAY 2: SANTANDER TO ALCOY
After a restful night at Pebble Beach Resort in Santander, I took a shower, had my breakfast, checked out early then proceeded to my next destination, so I walked towards the direction of the terminal for motorcycles/tricycles and asked the driver to drop me off to the national highway. (You can actually wait for the bus heading for Cebu City at the nearby bus terminal opposite Liloan Port but I wanted to save time).
9:00am Boarded a bus from the national highway in Santander bound for Cebu City
10:30am Disembarked at Tingko Beach in Alcoy (the one with the sign board Alcoy Beach Resorts) and explored the place. I only wanted to visit the place as I had not been there for quite a while. I entered at Antig Tingko Beach Resort 2 and took a video of the the beautiful Tingko Beach. (Find more info on Tingko Beach)

DAY 2: ALCOY TO OSLOB
11:00am After exploring Tingko Beach for about 30 minutes, I boarded a bus bound for Oslob, on the other side of the road
12:10pm I disembarked at Oslob town proper, the one with Seven Eleven/Oslob Public Market, bought a packed lunch at Seven Eleven and had it eaten beside Oslob Covered Court. I then explored the beautiful historic town of Oslob and had myself amazed once again by the highly Instagrammable Cuartel. I also took some pictures of Immaculate Conception Church, Museo Oslob, Oslob Covered Court, Baluarte and the Oslob Municipal Building and Plaza.
1:45pm I then headed to the highway, rode a tricycle, alighted at the nearby Gaisano Grand Oslob to buy some groceries then checked in at Maxvir Inn Beach Resort on Lagunde at 2:00pm. I enjoyed my Nipa Hut accommodation which is very affordable, had it at less than five hundred pesos (<Php500), had a good swim, took a shower then took a rest for a good number of hours.
6:00pm Rode a tricyle on the other side of the road and had dinner at Bora Cube Food Park, also on Barangay Lagunde.

DAY 3: OSLOB TO ALEGRIA TO BADIAN
9:00am Checked out early from Maxvir Beach Resort, road a tricyle for Oslob town proper, had bread and coffee at Julie's Bakeshop (opposite Oslob Public Market), took a bus from Oslob to Samboan and toured around south.
10:30am From the bus terminal in Samboan, rode another bus bound for Moalboal/Cebu City then disembarked at Alegria town proper and toured around the town
11:00am Had lunch at Marco's Diner
11:30am I meant to ride another bus for Cebu City but the buses were scarce that day, so I rode a jeepney/multi-cab bound for Badian (the next town). Had a funny jeepney experience. Handed my fare of twenty pesos (Php20), expecting a change, only to find out from the driver and co-passengers that the fare from Alegria to Badian is fifty pesos (Php50) -had a good laugh with fellow passengers, shame on me, though, haha
12:10am Arrived in Badian town, booked a habal-habal (motorcycle taxi) ride to see the church and Badian Municipal Hall and Building
12:20am Had lunch at Renemar Restaurant (along the road)
1:00pm Wanted to explore some more places in south Cebu but I decided to go home
4:30pm Arrived in Cebu City, had my dinner and visited the Colon Night Market(fyi: the night market is seasonal, opens during December until Sinulog time in January, I suppose)
