RIVERBANKS PARK
The Riverbanks Park or officially known as Marikina River Park is a recreational park along Marikina River running through the villages of Santo Niño, Santa Elena, Jesus de la Peña, San Roque, Calumpang, Barangka and Industrial Valley Complex in the western part of the city. The Riverbanks Mall is just a few steps away from this beautiful park and if you go hungry, check out Dampa sa Riverbanks.

RENAISSANCE CONVENTION CENTER
The Renaissance Convention Center is perfect for gatherings such as reunions, weddings, parties, seminars, workshops and any other events that need a venue for your social functions. There used to be a swimming pool before but it was seemingly on a renovation phase when we get there last March 2019. This events place in Marikina is just a few steps away from Courtyard Dormtel and Riverbanks Mall. Sometimes you might think this is Renaissance Hotel but this is Courtyard Dormtel found inside Renaissance Convention Center compound. Courtyard is perfect for barkada, family and large groups. Riverbanks Mall is home to the Guinness World Records for the largest pair of shoes in the world (or once was). The mall is situated inside Riverbanks Center, just a few steps away from Renaissance, Courtyard, Riverbanks Park, Dampa and Bonfire. There is a bazaar there as well where you can find cheaper clothing, shoes, bags, etc. Marikina City is the shoe capital of the Philippines.

At night, make sure to visit Bonfire to chill out, relax, have fun and sing with the band on stage like some of our family members did. This is located 2-3 steps away from the Riverbanks Park and just a few steps away from Courtyard and Riverbanks Mall. Dampa sa Marikina is directly facing this bar.
