Iloilo River Esplanade, Esplanade River Ride, Riverside Boardwalk and Adventure Central are 4 Attractions in Iloilo City that are just within the premises of Iloilo River Esplanade. Aside from the esplanade, one can do paddle boating thru the Esplanade River Ride and once you go hungry, head out to the Riverside Boardwalk. If you want some adventures, check out the Adventure Central. There are 2 ways to get there, you can go there via the Carpenter Bridge entrance or via the Mandurriao District entrance. If you are a tourist, just use the Mandurriao District entrance. This place is not too far from Plazuela Iloilo, Gaisano Mall and SM City Mandurriao.

ILOILO RIVER ESPLANADE

Entrance Fee to Iloilo River Esplanade is free but if you want to join the Exercise Session (I believe done somewhere near Carpenter Bridge), you are encouraged to contribute at least Php20. The esplanade is a 1.2 kilometers stretch from Diversion Road to Carpenter Bridge along Iloilo River. It is a perfect place for health conscious individual for brisk walking, jogging, running, etc. but anybody can enjoy the place especially if one wants to kill boredom.

ESPLANADE RIVER RIDE RATES AND OPERATING HOURS

If you love paddle boating, head out to the Esplanade River Ride area. Esplanade River Ride operating hours is between 6:00am to 9:00pm and the rates good for 30 minutes are Php85 per person for 6 years old and above; Php48 per child between 2 to 5 years old and Php25 per person for 1 year old and below. For senior citizens and PWD, rate is discounted by 20%, fee is only Php68. Last October, they ran a promotion for group of 6 persons. The ticketing booth can be found somewhere near Carpenter Bridge but I believe you can also purchase it at the docking area. For inquiries, you can call 09565890482 or 09081639508.

RIVERSIDE BOARDWALK

The Riverside Boardwalk is there to feed your hungry stomach. It is a food hub of a variety of restaurants and is just within the vicinity of Iloilo River Esplande. If you bring your vehicles with you, there is a wide parking space there.

ADVENTURE CENTRAL AT THE ESPLANADE

The Adventure Central is perfect for those who wants to add a little adventure to their trip to the esplanade. It is also within the Iloilo River Esplanade premises. You can do wall climbing and bouldering there. A gym and a coffee shop can also be found there. Adventure Central's operating hours is between 2:00pm to 10:00pm on Weekdays and 10:00am to 10:00pm on Weekends and Public Holidays.

HOW TO GO TO ILOILO RIVER ESPLANADE

• If from the airport, ride a van bound for SM City Mandurriao and tell the driver to drop you off at the River Esplanade. Fare is I  believe Php50 but prepare Php70.
• If from the city center, ride any jeepney bound for Mandurriao or Megaworld and tell the driver to drop you off at the River Esplanade. 
• If you are staying somewhere near Delgado St or Valeria St, walk your way towards an overpass and alongside SM Delgado Supermarket, ride a jeepney bound for Mandurriao/Megaworld then disembark at the River Esplanade .
